Checkout Terms

These terms apply to a buyer using the CleenPass checkout page.

1. What CleenPass is

CleenPass is a payment page. When a merchant sends you here, we link the bank account you choose, verify it, and send an instruction to move money from your bank to the merchant's bank.

2. We do not hold your money

CleenPass does not receive, hold or transmit your funds. A licensed financial institution moves them. Your payment goes from your bank to the merchant's bank. It does not pass through us and is never in an account we control.

3. What you authorise

When you tick the box and approve the payment at your bank, you authorise a transfer from the account you linked, for the amount shown on the page, to the merchant named on the page.

4. If a payment comes back

A bank payment that fails comes back as a return. It is not a card chargeback and no card network is involved. If a payment you authorised is returned, the merchant may contact you about the order.

5. Information we collect and share

To take a payment we collect the bank account details you link, the amount, the merchant, and information about the device and connection you used.

CleenPass may share or sell identifiers about you with affiliates and marketing partners. You can opt out at any time. We tell you here, at the point of collection, so that your acceptance of these terms is informed.

We never see or share your bank sign-in credentials. You enter those at your own bank.

6. The merchant, not us

The merchant sells you the goods or services and is the seller of record. Refunds, delivery, cancellations and disputes about the order are between you and the merchant. CleenPass does not decide, fund or process refunds.
